Learning Options

To fit your learning and development around your lifestyle - we have two options.

Option One: Self Paced with Assistance  (over a maximum of 12 months)

Participants can commence their course at any time. In addition, participants are able to attend assisted study sessions on a regular basis where there is the opportunity for "one-on-one" interaction with our trainers as well as exchanging business ideas with other participants.

Participants work through each unit at their own pace, although they are expected to complete at least one unit every 4 weeks.

You will have access to and be required to:

  • Read your Learner's Guide
  • Complete your Workbook and Assessment tasks
  • Add examples of workplace documents and activities through completion of your Evidence Portfolio.
Option Two: Fast Track to Success Programme

This is a 10 week course with Saturday morning workshops and optional assisted study sessions as in Option One.

Prerequisite Requirements

There no prerequisite requirements for indiviual units of competency.

Assessment

Assessment is competency-based and is on-going throughout the course.  Each unit contains activities that relate to the relevent competencies and form part of an ongoing formative process.  Participants are encouraged to work with a workplace mentor wherever possible.

Evidence Portfolio

As part of the assessment procedure, learners are required to select material that supports workplace roles, responsibilites and activities to add to their Evidence Portfolio.  There will be suggestions in the Learner's Guide.
